About Me

Hear the Music. Feel the Passion.

Influenced by Aerosmith, ACDC, Led Zeppelin, and Ozzy Osborne, her first band, Mazak, a heavy metal band, was formed when she was 17 and played shows in south central Ontario.

In her 20's she joined Uncensored. In UNCENCORED, Jacqueline not only got to showcase not only her strong rock voice, but her natural talents as a charismatic front woman and entertainer. (Search "Jacqueline Lovely" on UTUBE for a peak at 1991 video footage from Toronto's Rock 'n Roll Heaven)

In June of 2009, Jacqueline began singing in a combination of blues and folk forming the acoustic duo Alligator Boots with guitar player Vince Marcheson aka Vin Black.

In January 2010, co-writing with Vin Black, the duo debuted their first originals at The Trophy Case in Bradford on February 12th, 2010. With the sudden, and thankfully short, departure of Vin in March 2010, who was called out of the country, Jacqueline took some time collaborating with ex-Frozen ghost guitar player Bill Oulster, co-writing 7 new originals.

Bill recorded and produced four of the songs they completed together and these songs are currently available to hear on many of Jacqueline's social media sites.

In April 2010, Roger's TV did a profile of Alligator Boots as part of the Simcoe Living Show which aired from April 2nd through April 8th, 2010. The piece featured an interview with Jacqueline and the debut of a new original called, "Live in the Light" written with ex-frozen ghost guitar player, Bill Oulster. Jacqueline appeared again, live on Roger's Daytime Show, May 27th, 2010, with guest guitar player Norm Percy, performing the Alligator Boots original, "Too Soon To Say Goodbye," to help promote the up-coming Barrie Waterfront festival.

In 2011 the Duo continued to branch out playing clubs, festivals, parades and private shows in Simcoe County and played their first Toronto show at the Legendary Horsehoe Tavern in September. Now billing as "Jacqueline Lovely" the duo are always increasing their social media profile on Facebook, My space, Reverbnation, Sonicbiz, CBC Radio3, Sound click and Utube; adding songs and performance updates regularly.

At Barrie's New Music Festival in July 2011, after an intimate performance of original music at McReilly's Pub, Jacqueline and Vin took home the award for BEST ROCK INDIE 2011.

2011 also saw the Duo become regulars at the Barrie Nightclub, MANHATTAN's with monthly bookings well into 2012, they are a HOT club favourite.

2012 will see the Duo complete a full length CD, produced and engineered by Jim Zolis. And as a special treat, Jacqueline can also be heard belting out backing vocal tracks on the new the Killer Bee CD. The 5th CD release from Swedish Heavy metal rockers KILLER BEE, is due out October 22nd, 2012! (keep updated on this release - http://www.killerbee.se/News.php)

Jacqueline's original music can be found on internet radio stations - Maximum Threshold Radio, Women of Substance Radio, Women's Radio, CACH Radio, and iRadio LA - across the USA from Boston to California.

Jacqueline also studied comedy improv at Toronto's Second City, training which continues to enhance every live show with personal and entertaining commentary.
